Arghhh right... The host got hacked again! Charged us to get the site back up even though it was their fault and took and age to get it back up and running.
I'm looking at moving hosts as although they have been good for the last few years... this year their service has been terrible.
Sorry for the down time and fingers crossed it won't happen again!

I'm relieved and grateful that you've sorted it Ross.
You've created an important resource for a great many people and we don't half miss it when it's off-air for a bit!
Nice one.

As per others comments, your behind the scenes efforts are valued and sincerely appreciated Ross. The site is a valuable resource for all things 6 and the forum has a healthy community following with good relations amongst its members. A significant void when the site isn't available.
If the club coffers haven't covered the charges, please let us know; unfair for you to take a personal financial hit when the site benefits many. The same goes for any hosting switch which firmly gets my nod of approval if It will lead to greater stability and reliability as a result.
Thanks again Ross & great to have the site back.

As Darren says, I'm sure that many of us would be happy to chip in towards the hosting costs. The site has probably saved quite a few people a lot of money in terms of advice received.

It's nice to see so many people appreciate this place
I'm waiting on my mate whose space I rent to assess other hosts (he has several websites on a rented server) that he wants and will see how much it's gunna cost etc
