Potential new club vinyl

Postby Ross » Wed Apr 17, 2013 1:31 pm

You may notice this design in the club logo... I realise this will be a very "marmite" design as not everyone likes the Mazda wings "M" nor probably the dial effect. I fully understand this and will continue to sell the standard "www.Mazda6OC.co.uk" vinyl also.

My original idea was to have it designed around 5-6" wide for it to fit in the quarter glass if people wanted as this has been suggested before. I've also had this one designed to be applied externally so it could be applied to the bodywork (although internal shouldn't be a problem). It's currently around 7.5" / 20cm wide which when it came I went WOAH! but... I quite like it now it's on the car! haha.

Please see / vote in the poll as per your thoughts. If it's popular I can pre-order a batch and hopefully reduce the prices (weren't not talking expensive in the first place for what it is anyway!).

I have a smaller one in production also to see how it turns out details wise etc.

Let me know your thoughts!

In case you didn't know our site can also be reached via www.m6oc.co.uk

Ross.

P.s. Excuse the filthy car, my excuse is I have a dirty commute lol.

The Vinyl is superb and I like the design very much. Definitely will order at least one.
I like both sizes idea and I hope that big and small will be available at some point 8-)
By the way, it's perfect fit for your red car but I am sure it will suit any colour :D

That's not good to hear about the tax disc holder, was this a fault with the holder or was it an accident?

Glad to hear the new design is going down well so far :-)

I like it, it really does look good!

i haven't checked yet, but was planning on having the old sticker on the rear quarter window but haven't checked if it fits yet.. So i think this one is fine for the back, or could go on the front, on the opposite side of the tax holder?

its be a case of moving it around and seeing where it would suit..
but looks great!!
thanks for the pm too!

Edit:
One thing i will say, is that maybe it would suite your more than others, because its red..
silvers and greys wouldnt matter so much but i can see it clashing with blue cars... Can anyone else see it too? Or am i being silly :P
how much will these be and when can you get them out! I want one none the less!

The smaller one that were trying to produce without loosing the detail should fit in the quarter light/glass as this is what I had in mind when designing it.

As for the clash, I chose red and white as I'm just using the current club logo. I dont think it'll clash too badly with blue or any colour really, in fact blue cars with red and white vinyls can look good!

Once I've got the smaller one in my possession and im happy with it I'll sort prices and start taking orders... Hopefully next week :-)

I like it!!

However, my preferences would be to have the logo on a "round" tax disc for the front of the car (yes I know it'd only be seen from inside) ;) or maybe a reversed printed on tax disc size on round clear to go next to the road tax holder, which would be seen from the outside.

Plus as I go for the more subtle look I'd stay with the existing banner type, but if it was half it's current length. This way it could go on any window without taking up too much room :)

Also what about the logo in red/silver, this way the silver will pick up the wheel colour no matter what the paint is...............well you did ask :D

Getting the detail down to tax disc size would be practically impossible I'm afraid :( there's only so small the vinyl cutter can go and the tachometer lines and "."'s are already at the limits on the smaller one that's being produced.

Silver is an option I could look into, it doesn't go as well with red as white though nor does it stand out as much but I'll look into it by all means :)
